Ron and his Celebrating Life spiritual community believe in a wholistic approach to healing not only for bodily ailments but also for deep-seated psychological wounds and spiritual dilemmas. He teaches that healing means celebrating life to the fullest, and that this includes empowerment, wholistic living, exhilarating relationships and joy. In this approach, healing is also about overcoming fears and harmonizing our thoughts, emotions and feelings to create a destiny in keeping with the call of the Divine to become “an elegant spirit.”
In his book Sacred Healing, Harvard-trained neurosurgeon Dr. Norm Shealy has documented numerous healings that people have reported after Ron has prayed for them. The enthusiasm, vision, humor and practical approach that come so naturally to Ron inspire others to move beyond fear in order to live in health, harmony, balance and excellence. His spoken word has been described as ”carrying a vibration of sacredness beyond description.”
Having served a a Roman Catholic Priest for more than 25 years, he holds a B.A. in Philosophy, an M.A. in Theology and a Ph.D. in Religious Studies. He is also the founder of the Spirit of Peace Monastic Community, an international interfaith Benedictine order.
