Reclaim Your Spiritual Power Study Guide

INTRODUCTION - CHANGING OUR MISCONCEPTIONS

Describe your daily prayer ritual. What do you experience while praying? How has what you experience during prayer affected your relationships and life in general?

(P. xiv) What does it mean to you to be authentically holy and can you demonstrate it?

CHAPTER 1 - HOW I RECLAIMED MY OWN SPIRITUAL POWER

(P. 7) What does it mean that you’re an extension of the Divine Spirit in regard to healing?

(P. 13) What wake up calls have you received to remind you that you’re not “practicing what you are preaching”? How did these wake up calls change you?

CHAPTER 2 - THE COMPONENTS OF EMPOWERMENT

(P. 22) Read and reflect on Proverbs 23:7 and Dhammapada, 1-2. What have you manifested in your life as a result of your thoughts or visualizations?

(P. 23) Compose a prayer to reflect Jesus’ words, “With God all things are possible.” Remember to bring into consciousness how you will feel as your prayer is answered.

(P. 25) What is your vision (purpose in life), and how do you know it is Holy Spirit inspired?

(P. 31) What has been your experience with Ron’s assertion that whether we know it or not, all day long we’re creating sickness or health, prosperity or poverty? You can describe your own experiences or that of others.

(P. 36) Describe a time when you spoke with an authority about a topic or situation and afterwards wondered how you came up with such information. Where were you and how were you feeling?

(P. 40) Describe a negative manifestation you brought about as a result of a thought or something you said. Recall how you created it and how you could have created a positive manifestation instead. Please note any recurring thought patterns.

(P. 42) Describe how you achieve realization of oneness with God when being of service to others.

(P. 45) Who benefits the most, the forgiven or the forgiver? Is there someone, including yourself, whom you’ve not forgiven? When and how do you intend to drop it, release it and let it go?

CHAPTER 3 - CLAIMING THE POWER OF AUTHENTIC PRAYER

(P. 53) Ron indicates that authentic prayer is simply communion with the Divine Self of your nature. Describe how you achieve communion with your Divine Self.

CHAPTER 4 - HEALING AND BALANCE

(P. 71) Reread the reference to Thich Nhat Hanh and reflect how during this past year you have ingested social and emotional toxins. How have you eradicated them?

(P. 75) As a spiritual healer what advice would you provide for those seeking healing with regard to Jesus Ben Sira’s assessment of doctors and medicine?

CHAPTER 5 - THE POWER OF THE 23rd PSALM

(P. 80) Memorize the modern translation of Psalm 23 and meditate on it for a week. At the end of the week reflect on your daily meditation and recall the messages you received. What were they and how have they affected your life?

(P. 90) Ron tells us that Psalm 23 conveys to us how important it is to become aware of our Divine nature. How will you teach this concept to another person or to a group?

CHAPTER 6 - AUTHENTIC PRAYER BY DECREE

(Pgs. 96-98) Ron offers us seven elements of real prayer. How do these differ from how you were originally taught to pray, and how will you incorporate these elements into your prayer ritual?

(Pgs. 100-101) How did Jesus model authentic prayer? Give some examples.

CHAPTER 7 - HEALING EXCERCISES AND PRAYERS
(Pgs. 107-118) In Chapter Seven Ron shares a contemplative meditation and a couple of healing meditations. Share one of these meditations with another person or a group. Finish the session by laying on of hands.

APPENDIX - DAILY HEALING PRACTICES

(Pgs. 128-149) In the Appendix there are eleven healing practices. Work with each excerpted scripture, reflection, prayer, affirmation, and action steps for a day (or even up to a week) before moving on to the next one. What is the relationship of these practices to your spiritual healer training?

CONCLUSION

Describe how this book helped you reclaim your spiritual power. How will you use what you have learned to heal yourself and others?
