Sacred Pilgrimages 

** June 8-20, 2015 there will be a sacred journey to Brazil to visit the Casa of Dom Inacio de Loyola, the healing center of Joao Teixiera de Faria (John of God).  This trip accompanied by Rev. Paul Funfsinn, will be acceptable in lieu of (3) electives  from level 2.

Attendance at Oneness University, India for the 28 day process, or Three Chamber Deepening will be accepted for credit.

The student must write a 5 page reflection paper of their experience, or arrange to speak to the Educational Director for 2 hours, or a suggested time, providing an outline for the conversation to recieve credit.  Questions to be addressed in either the paper or telephone conversation are:

1.  Describe what you have learned concerning prayer, healing, worship, and the Holy Spirit.

2.  How have you listened to spirit? 

3.  How have you acted upon listening to spirit? 

4.  How have you healed because of spirit or the Holy Spirit?

Required Activities:

1.  Listen to 6 teleconferences.

2. Write a 1-2 page synopsis on each of the required and elected books, cd’s, dvd’s and address how they have enhanced your relationship with spirit.

3. Organize your own prayer group of two or more people.  Discuss either in a 5 page paper, or a 1 hour phone conversation with the Educational Director, how the prayer group is formed, how often it meets, and what you have learned.

4. Perform 25 hours of Community Service.  Preferably this service work is something that captures your heart personally.   It can be met by volunteering for service at a Celebrating Life Ministries retreat or at a religious/spiritual/ community organization of your choice. Please submit verification of the service work from the organization you have chosen, or have approval from the Educational Director, Virginia Chapin-Sheff, and/or Padre Paul Funfsinn..

Final Paper:

Upon completion of all the requirements and electives, submit a 10 page paper, or speak to the Educational Director for 2 hours (with an outline provided ahead of time) addressing the following:

1.  How has prayer affected your life?

2.  Describe a personal healing that reflects your transformation in Level 2.

3. How do you listen to spirit in your daily life? 

4. What is the most satisfactory element of level 2 that touched your heart?

5.  How do you respond to the Holy Spirit?
