Level 2 Prerequisites:

1.  Complete Level 1 of Spiritual Education Program

2.  Attend Advance/Master Level Workshop

3.  Submit a reflection paper sharing your spiritual experiences throughout the Advance/Master Level Workshop.

4.  Submit a typewritten letter or email to Fr. John Blair requesting acceptance and stating reasons for wanting to be accepted into the Ordination Program.

5.  Send a recent photograph of yourself.

***For 2010....In, March 2010, there will be a sacred journey to Medjugorje, where the Virgin Mary has been appearing daily since 1981. This trip accompanied by Paul Funfsinn, will be acceptable in lieu of some of the readings from  Level 1  or 2. The student must write a Reflection Paper of their experience which should include: 1) What you learned concerning prayer, worship and the Presence, 2) What were your perceptions about healing prior to and after the church experience?, and 3) Describe your overall transformation as a result of your experience while at this sacred site and upon your return home. Send the paper to Fr. Blair

Required Activities

1.  Write a one-two page synopsis of how each of the required books/tapes/CD’s AND selected electives enhanced your relationship to the Holy Spirit in regard to healing yourself and others. Describe your TRANSFORMATION.

2.  Organize your own prayer group of two or more people and submit a report. Include in your report the process you’ve adopted, what you’ve learned and participants’ feedback.

3.  Perform 40 hours of Community Service. Service should be purposeful and must involve furthering peoples’ understanding and awareness of the Holy Spirit. Service can be integrated into you Program by conducting a prayer group, assist at Celebrating Life Ministries workshops/seminars or volunteer at community or religious/spiritual organizations that fill others’ hearts as well as your own.

Verification of your service must be in writing from the person or organization receiving the service. Verification must include type of service rendered and amount of time.

4.  Level II Final Paper

Upon completion of all the requirements and electives, submit a 1500 – 2000 word paper sharing the following:

a.  What have you learned concerning the Holy Spirit, healing and prayer?

b.  How have you applied these principles in your daily life?

c.  How have these teachings affected your life?

d.  Describe your TRANSFORMATION.
