Level 1 Prerequisites

Attendance at a Four-day Intensive , 3 day Retreat or a Three-Day Level One Workshop

Complete the following after the Intensive.

1. Review Program requirements.

2. Submit a typewritten letter requesting acceptance into the program and stating your reasons for wanting to enter the program.

3. Submit a reflection paper sharing your spiritual experiences throughout the Four-day Intensive , Three-Day Retreat or Three-Day Level One Workshop.

Upon Acceptance into the program:

1. Return enrollment form received with your acceptance letter to update personal information.

2. First level tuition payment of $1000 is due and payable to Celebrating Life Ministries. You may send the check to Celebrating Life Ministries, P.O. Box 1064, La Salle, Illinois 61301. If you prefer to pay by credit card, you may do so by calling our voice mail box at 1-877-380-7748. Payment options can be arranged if so desired.

***For 2007 ONLY.....In, January 2007, there will be a sacred journey to Brazil to visit the Casa de Dom Inacio de Loyola, the healing center of Joao Teixeira de Faria (John of God.) This trip accompanied by Paul Funfsinn, will be acceptable in lieu of Level 1 or 2 electives. The student must write a Reflection Paper of My Brazil Experience which should include: 1) What you learned concerning prayer, worship and the Presence, 2) What were your perceptions about healing prior to and after the Casa experience?, and 3) Describe your overall transformation as a result of your experience while at the Casa and upon your return home. Send the paper to Fr. John Blair.

Activity Requirements:

1. Read the required books and complete study guides for The Healing Path of Prayer, Prayer and the Five Stages of Healing and Reclaim Your Spiritual Power.

2. Complete the workbook for the Spiritual Healing Intensive, tape or CD set.

3. Write a one-page synopsis of how EACH of the required books, tape(s)/CD’s, books and related Study Guides as well as your electives, providing details on how the material brought you closer to the Holy Spirit. Please send all papers to Fr. John Blair by email or regular mail, listed below. (Please send papers as you complete each book, etc.)

Community Service - (thirty hours - Required)

a. The service should be purposeful and involve furthering people’s understanding and awareness of the Holy Spirit.
b. Service can be integrated into your program by attending a prayer group, volunteer work during Celebrating Life /Intensives/ Retreat or for any group or organization that fills your heart.
c. Verifications of your service must be in writing from the person or organization receiving the service and sent in at least one month prior to level one certification.

Final Paper:

Upon completion of all requirements and three electives, write a 1500-2000 word paper or record on audio tape sharing the following:

             a. What have you learned concerning the Holy Spirit, Healing, and Prayer?
              b. How have you applied these principles in your daily life?
              c. How have these teachings affected your life?

Certificate of Completion

Will be issued within thirty to sixty days after completing all required activities and final approval by Ron Roth or Paul Funfsinn.
